Brisbane Christmas Markets 2026: Every Date in One List
Every handmade and Christmas market date we could confirm for Brisbane in November and December 2026, with times, venues and tips. Check the organiser's page before you go.
Christmas market season in Brisbane is short, hot and spread across the whole city. One weekend it's a twilight market under the City Hall lights, the next it's a Sunday morning in Dutton Park, and the dates are scattered across organisers' websites, Facebook events and Instagram stories.
This post puts every Brisbane-area handmade and Christmas market date I could confirm from the organisers' own pages into one list, in date order. Everything was checked on 1 November 2026.
Check the organiser's page before you go. Summer storms, heat and venue changes can move or cancel markets at short notice. Each listing links to the organiser so you can confirm on the day.

With a bit of planning you could do South Bank in the morning and Hamilton at dusk.
Every weekend: regular markets with handmade stalls
If none of the dates above suit, these run weekly (again, check before you go):
- The Collective Markets, South Bank. Little Stanley Street. Fridays 5pm to 9pm, Saturdays 10am to 9pm, Sundays 9am to 4pm. The organiser notes it's closed for Riverfire and New Year's Eve. (organiser)
- West End Markets, Davies Park. Saturdays from 6am. The official page lists 6am to 2pm; some of the organiser's other listings show a 1pm finish from December to February, so check before heading over late. (organiser)
Tips for a Brisbane summer market run
Go early or go twilight. Midday in December is hard work on hot concrete. Morning markets are at their best in the first couple of hours, and twilight markets are noticeably more comfortable once the sun drops.
Carry water and a hat. Obvious, but people still get caught out, especially at all-day events.
Bring a mix of payment options. Most stalls take cards, but phone signal can be patchy in crowded spaces, so a bit of cash is a useful backup.
Bring a sturdy bag for ceramics and glass. A tote with a flat base is better than a plastic bag.
Think about your dog. Several of The Market Folk's Christmas markets welcome dogs on a lead, but hot pavement can burn paws. Test the ground with the back of your hand; if you can't hold it there for several seconds, it's too hot for paws.
Use public transport for CBD and South Bank markets. King George Square and South Bank are both well served by buses and trains; parking nearby is limited and expensive.
Talk to the makers. Many stallholders take custom orders or personalisation requests, but lead times in December fill quickly. If you see something you'd like personalised, ask on the day rather than leaving it until later.
Missing a market?
This list only includes events I could confirm from an official source. If you run a Brisbane handmade market with dates published on your own website, I'm happy to add it after checking.
