About Brisbane Maker Map

Brisbane Maker Map is an independent hobby blog about the handmade side of Brisbane: markets where local makers sell their work, workshops where you can learn a craft for an afternoon, and the practical stuff (parking, heat, timing) that makes a market morning go well.

It's written by a Brisbane local who'd rather spend a Saturday wandering stalls than a shopping centre, and who got tired of piecing together dates from five different Instagram accounts.

How dates are checked

• Every dated event on this site comes from the organiser's own website (or an official listing such as Visit Brisbane) and is linked so you can check it yourself.
• Each post and the market calendar say when the details were last checked.
• Markets get cancelled for storms, venues change, and times shift in summer. Always check the organiser's page before you go.
• If an event can't be confirmed from an official source, it isn't listed.

What you won't find here

No paid listings, no sponsored "top 10s", and no affiliation with any market organiser.

Disclosure

This is a hobby blog. I make things myself, and if I ever have a stall at a market I write about, or mention something I've made, I'll say so clearly in that post.
